As designers, we're often encouraged to follow the latest trends - new colours, new materials, new finishes. But the reality is that "trends" can often fuel a throwaway culture. Spaces are refreshed, stripped out and replaced long before the products within them have reached the end of their life. So perhaps the most important trend i
